Outreach Care

Compassionate Support Wherever You Are

Outreach Department Overview

Steps support outreach department offers support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, sensory impairments and other vulnerabilities. The aim of the outreach department is to promote and develop independence and encourage participation to be involved in the managing of their home and tenancy, to recognise the service user’s abilities, preferences and needs and to involve them in every aspect of their support.

We will work with service users to develop and promote their health and wellbeing, quality of life, independent living skills and economic well-being. Service users will also be supported to be actively involved and included in their community, whilst promoting equality.

We work in partnership with families, carers, and professionals to ensure the needs of the service user are met and that they achieve the best possible outcomes. Each service user is assessed on an individual basis, to enable us to allocate the correct members of staff and ensure we can meet the needs of the people we support.
